I know what it feels like…
At the age of 14, I found myself inside of 3 different schools inside of 1 year- and it wasn’t by choice.
See, I had these great dreams for my life
And I was a “smart kid with a lot of potential” as they say
But the system just did not work for me. I refused to stay in the box that they put me in.
I was angry, frustrated, confused and just knew this couldn't be the only option available.
I knew I couldn’t do 4-6 years in university.
And I knew I couldn’t do 50 years in a 9-5 job.
And so in high school out of curiosity, I started an online business and quickly I was making more money than my teachers from the back of the classroom.
How was it that I was being taught by people I was already out-earning at the age of 16?
I began to ask the question…
"What if I created my own education?"
And so I dropped out of high school & began to explore these alternatives.
I started to invest the money I was making into courses, mentors and programs, and my life & business began to grow in profound ways.
At the start of 2019, at the ripe age of 18, I set sail for my first solo travel journey around the world and what unfolded would change my life forever.
Since then, I have now traveled &/or lived in 64 countries across latin america, europe, the middle east, north america, north africa & asia.
I surfed in the Arctic Circle for a winter
I fought in the barrios of Mexico City
I lived summers in the mediterranean
And during this time I built 3 x multi million dollar online businesses
And I experienced myself and the world far beyond what was ever possible in the traditional system
I now make in a month what school teachers make in a year.
I have time & geographical freedom to pursue what's meaningful to me
All because I dared to challenge the norms of the current education system.
Over the course of this journey, I was blown away by my results and wondered,

My friends & family began to ask me how they could do it for themselves.
I started to help them
And they got incredible results too.
And so I thought to myself, "what if I made this available to all young people who were going through the same thing I went through?"

About the author
My name is Jay Topp. I’m twenty four years of age, and I’m a third generation Australian, originally from Palm Beach, on the Gold Coast. I’m a mix of European blood; Maltese, Scottish, German and English. I grew up and was raised in a family of seven kids. My father was an Australian champion boxer.
I’ve traveled to sixty-four countries at the time of writing. Throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, North America and South America mainly. I now live most of the year in Buenos Aires, and the rest of my time in Europe, with lots of adventures in between.
The majority of my attention is spent building my online portfolio of education business Lion.Growth.
I spend my days writing, exploring movement, studying languages, playing music, drinking too much coffee, and planning my adventures and projects. The purpose that I have chosen for my life, is to become the highest, most authentic expression of what I am. My mission is to create incredible physical and digital spaces for human elevation, to change the way we think and act in regard to the education of our young people, and ultimately how we think about the nature of life and growth.
